SHORT FILM CONTEST
Calling all filmmakers - professional and aspiring!
Do you have a Borscht Belt story to tell? The Borscht Belt Film Fest has issued an official call for original short films about the Borscht Belt resort era. Selected films will be screened during the film fest on the weekend of October 31-November 2 in Ellenville, NY, in the heart of the Catskills.
The festival seeks both narrative and documentary short films to screen in a short film contest at the conclusion of the three-day film event. There is no cost to enter and there will be prizes! See details below, including a contest entry form.

“Many people have a Borscht Belt story they would like to share, and now is your chance to share yours. Your film can be a documentary, a fictional story, or animation. It can be about bungalow colonies, rooming houses, stand-up comedians, waiters, or couples who fell in love on vacation. Here’s a great opportunity to capture special memories from family and friends about this fascinating era or create your own story. You could be the next “Dirty Dancing!”
